Ambedkar Jayanti

The Changchup Choeling Nunnery participated in the Celebration of Birth Anniversary of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar organized by Choskul Tsogspa Zanskar & Zeal Crew Padum.The Tsogspa organized this event for the second time to commemorate the birth of one of the most prominent Indian civil rights activists,lawyer and above all a Bodhisattva.The students performed a beautiful skit/role play on Environmental issues.The students of the nunnery tried to sensitize the audience about the problems created by Plastic .They also portraited the impact of excessive usage of plastic on animals .A song on “Save water “ was presented at the end to convey the message of less use of plastic and not to pollute water .The peformance of the student was liked by everybody present in the arena.

The Changchup Choeling Nunnery would like to express heartfelt thanks to Choskul Tsogspa Zanskar to provide us the opportunity to create awareness among the people about environmental threats. We look forward to such opportunity again in the future. Congratulations to all the members of Choskul Tsogspa Zanskar for organizing such a purposeful event.
