83 rd Birth anniversary of H.E Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche on 5th Nov’2022

Changchup Choeling Nunnery in association with alumni of Varanasi and Zanskar celebrated 83 rd Birth anniversary of H.E Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche on 5th Nov’2022 at Changchup Choeling Nunnery,Zangla,Zanskar.The Zanskar Buddhist association , president Sh. Pasang Lawang graced the occasion as the chief guest and addressed the gathering highlighting the impactful work of Rinpoche.The event began with Lamp Lighting the Buddhist chant by the Nuns of Changchup Choeling Nunnery.The alumni talked about journey of H.E Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche as An Educationist and Politician.Rinpoche is one of the very few Buddhist Scholars in the world with this depth and clarity in Buddhist philosophy.Rinpoche has served in Monasteries of several parts of India and shared his profound experience with the upcoming generation.He has been recognized and honoured for his relentless contribution to humanity.The alumni shared their experience of being under his supervision and opportunity to uplift their lives .The occasion was also attended by the Village BDC Stanzin Sandup and he congratulated the entire village for conducting such event.The nunnery gets inspiration from such personalities and propagates the message to serve the world by selfless intentions.
