Buddha Purnima

MAY LORD BUDDHA ENLIGHTEN WE ALL ON THE PATH OF LOVE , PEACE AND TRUTH.

Buddha purnima is considered to be the most auspicious occasion as it is marked as the day of enlightenment of Buddha .

To promote the profound insights of Buddhism ,the nuns of Changchub Choeling Nunnery Zangla , Zanskar performed “Tamcha” (Chatshe, Namdel, Namkhen) on subsequent cognition..The younger nuns narrated the story of Siddhartha in search truth during their Quality Circle Time. They talked about how Buddha’s life has inspired the whole world to walk on the path of Enlightenmment and eventually attain renunciation.

The elder nuns were no where behind .They integrated their artistic mind with Buddhism and spread the message of peace by T shirt designing .They depicted significant symbols of Buddhism with profound message.

Buddha purnima was not a mere celebration but also an occasion to recall and contemplate the real essence of Buddha’s teaching .
