Mandala art

One of the richest visual objects in Tibetan Buddhism is the mandala. A mandala is a symbolic picture of the universe.Changchup choeling Nunnery ,Zangla Zanskar has not left any stone unturned in order to prerserve and promote the ancient Buddhist culture.One more effort by the nuns in the monastery is to learn Mandala art and share the insights depicted by beautiful mandala.Under the supervision of Geshe Tsewang Rigzin, all the nuns are learning mandala like Mandala for peace, mandala for wisdom ,mandala for wealth etc.On 19 th oct ‘2021 Changchup choeling Nunnery ,Zangla Zanskar conducted an examination for Mandala to check the progress of the learners.All the nuns put their best efforts to present their their mandala in beautiful way and also they explained the symbols with their meaning.This is an initiative to inspire and motivate people to propagate the meassage conveyed by each mandala and make a peaceful world.
