Changchup Choeling Nunnery ,Zangla Zanskar conducted the Annual Debate Examination 2021 on October 9, 2021.The monastery invited all the other monasteries of zanskar to be the part of the event in order to revive the Buddhist tradition.The occasion was graced by Gen Lobzang Nurboo from Skyagam, Gen Tsewang from Dorjey Zong, Gen Lekshet from Karsha,Gen Sonam Tsering from Govt High school Zangla ,Stanzin Namtak from Tashi Lumpu.Apart from this the event was attended by people from different walks of life and got benefitted by the wisdom that Bodhi philosophy offers.The students of Changchup Choeling Nunnery ,Zangla Zanskar studied Bodhi Philosophy under the supervision of Geshe Tsewang Rigzin and presented their logics and reasoning on topics like Namdel,Duta ,Lorik etc.The Debate was followed by a cultural program which conveyed the message of Cleanliness,saving water ,environment and preserving culture. Geshe Tsewang Rigzin and Gen Lobzang Nurboo addressed the gathering after announcing the winners.They shared their insights and emphasized upon educating the heart of the students in stead of mind.This event will surely uplift the mindset of the people about Buddhist Philosophy and its relevance with current situation.
