Changchub choeling Nunnery ,Zangla Zanskar took a step forward to preserve the environment and keep it clean as much as possible.The nuns of the Changchub choeling Nunnery ,Zangla showed their genuine concern towards the Medicinal water body near Zangla Village.The water body has potent medicinal property and it is evident that people get cured from many diseases.Unfortunately the same medicinal water is being polluted by the visitors.So, the nuns of the Zangla Gonpa decided to revive the medicinal water by cleaning it on 25 september 2021.They made this water free from chips wrappers, plastic bottles, clothes, chocolate wrappers etc.They have also placed dustbins there to keep the medicinal water clean.In order to create awareness among people , Changchub choeling Nunnery ,Zangla is going to organize a “Poster Making Competition “.We hope that people visiting the medicinal water would understand the value of the water body and co operate in keeping it clean.
