TEACHER’S TRAINING
PROGRAM on 5th September
2021

Changchup Choeling Nunnery,Zangla ,Zanskar organized a TEACHER’S TRAINING PROGRAM on 5th September 2021 to empower the teachers of Zanskar and nearby area.Teachers from various parts of Zanskar like Barden Gonpa ,Muney Gonpa,Ufti etc.have participated in the program.The event began with the chant and prayer by the students of Changchup choeling in three languages Ladakhi,Hindi and English.Geshe Tsewang Rigzin lighted the lamp to seek the blessings of the Buddha and H.H .Dalai Lama.The resource person Rigzin Wangmo ,Academic Director at SECMOL guided the teachers about Contextual teaching Experiential Learning.On the other hand ,Ms Devina ,an Educator from Delhi walked the audience through the highlights of National Education policy 2020.Also she equipped the attendees with creative teaching strategies to be implemented in order to make teaching learning process more effective and impactful.She demonstrated some pedagogical strategies to implement art integration,experiential learning ,integration of sports and inclusion of fun element in the classroom conducive to Zanskar.At the end the young and vibrant students of the Changchup Choeling Nunnery presented a song dedicating the the teachers.The event proved itself to be a great tribute to all the teachers leading the society as changemakers.
