Performed a medley of Traditional Chant and Prayer including Patriotic hym

It’s a proud moment for all of us ………………For the first time ever in Zanskar a Nun Gonpa has participated in the Independence Day celebration at Padum.The Changchup Choeling Nunnery ,Zangla ,Zanskar performed a medley of Traditional Chant and Prayer including Patriotic hym for which they have been given Consolation prize.Also they displayed their traditional craftwork and practices in the exhibition during the event .The occasion was graced by Padamshree Awardee Tsultim Chonjor , SDM of Zanskar Sonam Dorjay ,Executive Counsellor of Zanskar Phunshok Tashi ,who appreciated the steps taken by the nunnery to preserve our culture and environment.Also the nuns created awareness among the visitors about small acts which can revive our unique culture and environment.
