​Zangla Nunnery ,Zanskar organized the Exhibition on Culture and Environment on 16 th Oct 2023 at Poorna Learning centre,an Alternative school at Bangalore.The event began with a presentation about the Nunnery and it's projects which was followed by interaction among the kids of Poorna and Zangla Nunnery.The youngsters participated in Q and A session to know more about monastic life.The nuns demonstrated Mane inscriptions,scripture writing and chumik gutup( thread art) The students' corner with origami, wooden art,paper art ,ballon art and dream catchers were liked by the audience the most. The staff of the centre tried the Zanskar traditional attire.The Zangla nuns enjoyed the south Indian food and shared their cultural practices with the students out there.It was a great learning experience for students of both the institutes.
